Is there a way to do this without having to physically explore it all? Or is DynMap the only way? It doesn’t need to be live or anything, just a way to get an image of it.

Yes.

you have plenty of options, such as dyn/square/plex/bluemap, or tools like mcaeditor, unmined, etc
^ that’s basically the best way

unmined is great, you just downlaod your map from the server, and unmined can output a png or whatever you want
