I'm hosting a Minecraft Bedrock server on my Ubuntu server for my friends and when they try to connect so I can grab their xuid and add them to the allowlist.json file, the console does not show they event attempt to connect.
I have the logging settings set to true in server.properties and I also have online-mode and allow-list set to true. Weirdly, the connection logs to appear when I set online-mode and allow-list to false.
Why don't the connection attempts show up when allow-list is set on?
Edit: After a little more troubleshooting, it actually doesn’t show the logs when allow-list is set to true, not online-mode.

Yep! I’m able to connect to the server myself and my fiancé is able to connect to the server from her PC. I haven’t yet had a chance to see if my other friends have been able to connect, but I’ll verify for sure.

They mean if the server is natively bedrock
Or is a java server with geyser to allow bedrock connections

To me it sounds like a java server with geyser, but I haven’t made a bedrock server before, so idk

Oh, nope it’s natively Bedrock. I downloaded and set up the whole thing from the Bedrock server package from Minecraft.net

as it's bedrock ur players also need to input the port field, unless u set it up on 19132 port
which then is auto completed by default
Alligator mississippiensisOP
I did set it up on 19132

Also, what software are you using?
The vanilla bedrock software from minecraft.net or something like nukkit?

I’m not sure I fully understand. I set it up on an Ubuntu VM on my Proxmox server, so it’s hosted on a local machine.
