Those are unicode characters which arent rendering correctly. You probably don't have the resource pack properly equipped or something

i do though and everything else works

i haven’t changed my chat format after installing oraxen so there’s nothing in chat which uses oraxen

but when i switched to LPC it worked fine with the same chat format so idk
