Any tips on combatting mods like Fullbright?

Fullbright isnt a cheat, to 99% of people so doubt you can

Making people able to see anything is qol not cheating imo

By full bright I mean the mods

Not 100% brightness in settings

Either way I want to stop players from using it cause I have mechanics like torch burnout in my packs

It's a rendering mod, it has no effect on the behavior of the client as seen by the server

fullbright can be gotten via night vision potions

so it is knida cheating

forced texture packs

those are still a thing on servers right?

they can turn it off?

+ there are mods that just change the rendering, texture packs cant block that. if they really want fullbright they can use it imo

you aren't running a horror modpack, or something that needs regular mc light methods to work
and it doesnt really cause any harm if they do or dont have it. its a way to play the game

hell hypixel doesnt care if you have full bright and they are hard against things like that

that kinda stuff
