how many chunks should i generate for a modded server which requires a lot of travelling, for reference my friend went to -15k, -15k to find a boss arena,

i preloaded 10k blocks in every direction, 1.6mil chunks iirc, took about 14 hours

Speed depends on mods, cpu, and a ton more factors so its easier to see yourself

We pre generated about 13k chunks in each direction on an 13900k, iirc the cps was around 35

just tell your friends how far it is and tell them if it goes over that it’ll be lagging
