Basically I wiped my server OS and put Ubuntu server on it. I had some mod issues so I binary searched to fix it, now it works, but when I try join the server I get "Connection lost, network protocol error". And the server terminal says "Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 2047ms or 40 ticks behind", any ideas?
It has a similar amount of mods I had before I switched to Ubuntu server so it can't be because of slow hardware.
I'm pretty confused. 😅
(And by the way it doesn't crash the server it just kicks the player)

Spark report seems fine, I've also used the PC before as a server with basically the same mods and it worked perfect. 🤷♂️

Oh wtf... I found a mod called Network Protocol Disconnect and it let me connect...
Not good for longterm though cause it seems buggy, baby zombie models are using the adult ones and my character has no skin layer...

CPU is at 2-10%, memory around 50% and load average 0.81 1.06 1.15.

Basically I just updated my mods in my modpack to newer versions (just bug fixes mostly), and added a few more mods. Trying with the old ones to test is a good idea.

Sparks running now but what logs do you want? There are no crash reports cause it doesn't actually crash.

I mean the server doesn't actually crash it just doesn't let me join.
that’s not a crash then
that’s just connection issues
share a client latest.log when you try to join and same with server

When I first setup the server I checked without mods and it worked fine.
Guess I just need to binary search again to find what mod causes it. 🤷♂️

It's removing mods in chunks until you find out what one is the culprit causing the crash.
