Second Question I've come across. What does this percentage actually mean? My immediate assumption is its how much of my cpu I'm actually using, except I have seen this number go up to 700% before (while I was using chunky in the nether, it hasnt gone above 40% since). But since this number can clearly go above 100% what does this actually tell me?

700% means 7 threads are being used
If you were used to 40% that just means only 40% of a single thread was being used

gotchya so every 100% is 1 thread
so im like not even uusing 1/32th of the load right now since its an AMD ryzen 9 9950X

I do want to ask isnt minecraft like really bad with multi thread/core processing? So how much does that actually matter/provide

not as much as it was in its very early days.
you just want a really fast single core score cpu, and like 8 threads (4 core)

what tamz said, 32 threads wont really do much for you if youre only hosting one server, but if youre going to have multiple servers hosted on that machine you'll be glad you have 32 threads
