First question of the bunch. How much Disk Space does world generation take. I've got Chunky installed and I have it pregenerating a 10,000 radius area and was just wondering how much disk space that takes up.

Also was wondering if there are any tips to using chunky, or is it as simple as pregenerate an amount of chunks to reduce the processing needed for world gen

only tip i have is to maybe not go overboard unless you have good storage solutions/backups

Also if you're using a map plugin like BlueMap, keep in mind the disk usage calculated in the tool is of course not including map data (which is probably like double the world size), but you can exclude bluemap data from backups
Yeah I'd recommend 5k radius for small map or 10k for a large map
nether/end max 5k imo
Just remembered also an extra tip for chunky, when new content/areas drop you'd need to trim and regenerate chunks if your whole map is pregenerated, so you can get the new content (unless you reset the map often)
I already have a 10k map generated so I'm probably planning to keep the area between 5k-10k as a buffer zone for new content, would reset all of the map though if there's weird chunk cutoffs depending on how significant the worldgen changes are

Important to note that value for world storage size could be drastically different for heavily modded servers

Its not causing any problems that I can see but i figured id also ask about this since its occuring during chunky generation:
[06:22:59] [Worker-Main-51/WARN] [ModernFix/]: Skipped emitting ENTITY_MOUNT game event for entity Strider['Strider'/531173, l='ServerLevel[world]', x=-282.00, y=31.00, z=921.00] as it would cause deadlock

[06:24:53] [Worker-Main-40/WARN] [minecraft/AttributeMap]: Ignoring unknown attribute 'forge:entity_gravity'

it ocassionally gets these msgs showing up on the console while chunky loads (this is aprticularly in the nether but I had some cases with overworld as well) is this something I should be concerned about, or is it essentially just skipping that block/chunk becuase loading it the way chunky does would cuase issue
or does this have absolutely nothing to do with chunky

if it’s just these two messages, nothing to worry about. as you basically said, it’s just avoiding any issues that may happen as natural events during chunk generation
