Dried Ghasts Not Hydrating

Multiple players and I have been trying to hydrate dried ghasts, but they arent hydrating. They get the growing particles but never grow. This is a new problem as previous players could a few days ago, the only things Ive changed is updating some plugins (PROdeathchest, waystones, nothing that should affect the ghasts) and adding PlugmanX and spark. I tried disabling lagfixer but it didnt fix the issue (I know its not a good plugin, owner doesnt want to remove it)
