How could I train my moderators?

help them 1:1 then let them train the others

Staff manager. When I took it over the team was in shambles.

There was no senior staff.

I'm not intrested in any of the current staff being senior staff rn. None of them is qualified.

You are in a very difficult situation.
You either have to go through a lot of research or hire someone with enough experience to assume the role of senior moderator.

If it is 40 or below i would say that you wouldn’t need much staff or even a staff manager role for the matter, 1 or 3 staff usually should work.
