I use CMI because I have had issues with essentials

I am having issues with permissions not working even though I have set specific command permissions in the luckperms ranks.

An example of this is my default ranks and all other ranks have the permission for chunk.auto set and yet nobody that isn't OP can use the command

highly recommend against cmi
its slow, exploit filled, closed source, missing basic functionality

I could not get basic functionality out of essentials either, what free options would you recommend that have the same functionality as essentials and CMI then?

what issues did you have with essentials

Warp permissions never worked, kit permissions never worked, general basic spawn wouldn't work, i mean essentially nothing worked when I was using it unless the players were Opped

And CMI resolved those issues, but now I'm running into different permission problems even though the exact string is specified per rank with other things like chunk and a couple of the CMI commands. Its like luckperms is broken but it's not static across everything it's just specific bits of random plug-ins

sounds like you did smth very very wrong with permissions
