this is my first time self hosting a server instead of using a hosting so i dont know if that has something to do with it but geyser players are getting insane amounts of ghost blocks and lag, they have problems opening guis and such. i have 22gbs of ram on the server and a decent cpu so i dont think specs are the problem

sorry i figured out the issue i had the packet compression very high

22gbs of ram? Please reduce that unless you REALLY know what you are doing
You most likely doesn't need more than 8, adding more just strains GC more
