Looking to get a Minecraft server up and running via Oracle for the first time. Not the most tech savvy individual, but know how to follow basic tutorials and do a few things.
I have upgraded to Pay as You Go as I'm told that it is easier to get access to a VM with this status on your account, but I'm still struggling to get it:
"Out of capacity for shape VM.Standard.A1.Flex in availability domain AD-2. Create the instance in a different availability domain or try again later. If you specified a fault domain, try creating the instance without specifying a fault domain. If that doesn’t work, please try again later.Learn more about host capacity."
Is it just a case of keeping at it until I get it, or is there something I can do? Thanks.

Is there generally a timeframe I can expect to have it working?

I had a script running for like 2 months they never restocked so good luck 🥀

Oh. 💀
It seems my research wasn't as thorough as I'd hoped.
Any alternative places I can look?
Giant panda
well, nobody else I know is giving reliable servers for free
Sun bearOP
I'm on the PAYG which is allegedly giving access quicker.
Idm paying.
Giant panda
I guess it depends on what specs you're looking for then
Sun bearOP
It's just a small server but honestly we're sick and tired of trying to use server hosts that seem to be complete scams.
We would use Aternos but it doesn't support a lot of mods we like.

if you want a decent box i recommend just buy a hetzner server, they start at like €30/mo
Sun bearOP
It's literally only for about 5 people maximum. Is there no better value for money?
I'm inclined to believe it's probably gonna be expensive though considering how bad the cheaper one was.
Giant panda
Not from hetzner, but there's probably other providers that can provide better prices
I personally use the KS-B from https://eco.ovhcloud.com/en/ but I don't use it for minecraft so I can't comment on that
If you want to just stick to hosting and not a box I'm pretty sure SparkedHost and PebbleHost are some of the most common, otherwise you can check out #service-providers I guess
