Alternative to Contabo

Hi, I'm hosing a minecraft vanilla server for me and my friends. Currently I use Contabo with a plan that cost € 14 monlty, and the paln offer 200 GB NVMe, 6 cores and 16GB of RAM. Normally five to eight people maximum play on the server. The problem is that the server often lags. Sometimes with 8 players it does not lag, and sometimes it lags with just one player. So I wanted to ask if there were better VPSs around that price. I have always used VPS for minecraft servers but I am also open to trying dedicated services.
