Chunk corruption? What is this?

it’s a sign of chunk corruption or a bugged chunk that isn’t related to corruption

very rarely there are chunks that are tick frozen

Is it abnormal that it doesn't line up with a chunk, or even a vertical slice properly? It's kinda in the middle of two chunks

it’s possible. but something else can be doing that
have you tried running region fixer / restarting server or turning the game on and off

we run region fixer every hour, it's never detected any issues, most recent log attached in case I'm missing something dumb (idcounts seems to always go weird after some time, and deleting it fixes it, just ignoring it now since apparently it's not even used anymore?)

server also restarts every night & updates paper, so often, this has been present for maybe a month
