so, at the moment I'm not even sure if I have a laptop anymore since my laptop was left back at the place we moved out of earlier this year, but haven't had a chance to go back and grab the rest of our stuff from it yet, and we ended up finding out that relatives of ours had taken some of our stuff from there, and have it at their place now, as in they stole it...
I unfortunately cannot afford paying for a brand new laptop or for even one from a pawn shop at the moment, due to me having to budget and be responsible, amongst other things...
due to these circumstances and limitations, I understand that you can use VS Code on mobile via vscode.dev in order to do coding in an IDE, but the website is extremely clunky and difficult than navigate, and looks like it was not proportioned correctly, when I try to use the website on my phone...
the dilemma, in conclusion, is that I at the moment don't have a way to use an IDE, in order to mess around with code and other things, relating to Minecraft modding stuff, and am having issues with researching away to solve this dilemma.
any suggestions that don't require an actual computer, whether it's a laptop or desktop, would be awesome.
My mobile device is a Motorola G Stylus 2024, and I'm able to use the Moto connect feature on my TV in order to essentially have a mobile desktop environment, but I'm not sure if that's helpful at all, with my situation...

From personal experience, I think any method (if any viable ones exist) would suck ass and just be horrible to use on such a small screen
It would also suck a lot to stare at a screen this small for hours when coding

other than the experience sucking ass?
I'm fine with dealing with the small screen if it works

I guess you could try out aide, although it’s an internet search result, not a personal recommendation

currently have that, but not sure how I can get Gradle implemented

He basically no-lives coding on mobile

although there's so many different references saying it's on Google Play

so what’s the programming experience like?😄
Check out https://coder.com/
it’s a VSC web ecosystem that runs on your local machine (frontend doesn’t but all the processes etc run in docker on the machine it’s installed on). It’s not perfect but you can set up a mod env.
GH workspaces also works

That’s the closest you’re going to get

not bad in terms of the way it looks and feels, but I stumbled upon how to add libraries, but then completely back to myself out of it without being able to figure out how to do it again, lmao
was just messing around and trying to see if I could find the equivalent to IntelliJ's project settings, and ended up accessing a pop-up that allowed me to add libraries and stuff, but then backed out of it

I know you said VSC web isn’t very accessible but consider investing in a stylus or keyboard/mouse
I’ve personally experienced difficulties with VSC web on mobile/tablet
especially the console

I have a stylus, the issue isn't with being able to tap stuff, the issue is with it basically not being proportioned correctly or whatever, and for some reason when I try to load it as a desktop site instead of a mobile page, it doesn't load the site all the way for some reason
it just loads the gray kind of panels with a black background, and then stops there
