I recently set up a server with crafty controller running on casaos which runs on top of Linux mint. I set both of the port forward rules on my router, and people can connect, but voice chat doesn't work. I've tried everything.

Yes it's udp in my router settings
@Tamz are you sure ur opening it as a UDP port?
Polar bearOP
Doing a port check shows it isn't open

is it forwarded on ur pc itself?
Polar bearOP
Yes with sudo ufw enable 24454
However 25565 isn't enabled on the pc but that works
@Tamz is it forwarded on ur pc itself?

I've tried removing it and re adding it
@Polar bear Yes with sudo ufw enable 24454
do you have UFW enabled?
assuming your issue is similar to mine i had before
right click the instance on casa
Bluetick Coonhound
there is a tool that comes with svc to check if its udp port is opened
huh I cant find it
@Yakutian Laika right click the instance on casa
Polar bearOP
Yeah I've tried that already nothing happened
@Tamz do you have UFW enabled?
Polar bearOP
I was having loads of issues so I switched to firewalld and now there's only this issue
Bluetick Coonhound
you could configure svc to work over tcp on the minecraft port, although thats not the best method
@Polar bear Yes with sudo ufw enable 24454
Bluetick Coonhound
thats not actually the correct syntax
also docker manages its own firewall, not affected by ufw (unless host restricted those ports)

Polar bearOP
How do I change the docker firewall then?
Bluetick Coonhound
you specify the ports within the startup script
docker run -p 24454:24454 ur_container
