Is clearlag actually a big contribution to a sever nowadays? Ive been hearing everywhere its outdated because it was supposed to be for spigot servers which lacked the configs.
Were considering removing it due to the amount of complaints from people who die 5 seconds before it.

because of how mob spawning works now
if it deletes entities it will just fill em up again
causing additional spawning lag (not really a issue but just a thing)

doesnt do much items are relatively light, and you have papers alternative despawn timers

The best thing you can do with clearlagg is removing it from your server.
