I added FreedomChat to my server to disable chat reporting after having the plugin recommended to me but players were still getting the “messages can’t be verified” popup every time they joined the server.
I looked up how to disable the popup and found AntiPopup. I added AntiPopup to my server and the message no longer comes up when joining the server but now I have both of these plugins that have very similar descriptions on their respective download pages. So I am wondering if I need both of these plugins or if I only need one.
Also is there a way to disable telemetry on my server too?

I think* both freedomchat and antipopup would be needed (not sure though)

your server by default does not have telemetry for data collection, only things like authentication would be passed on to mojang. Some plugins may introduce their own metrics system in addition with bstats

I meant microsoft/mojang telemetry. I don’t actually know if that is a thing. I kinda just assumed it was. 😅

Alright I will just keep them both for now unless someone else knows something we don’t

im just saying taking it from a guy who tried to get a plugin called "AntiPopup" to by default not remove popups is a bit silly
