I just got an Oracle always free account and I'm trying to make a modded server with Forge on 1.20.1. I'm following [this guide](https://old.reddit.com/r/admincraft/comments/qo78be/creating_a_minecraft_server_with_oracle_cloud/), but I'm stuck on installing Java. When I use the
The Oracle VM OS is Oracle Linux 9 and the shape is VM.Standard.A1.Flex. I'm using the modpack I created with Temurin 17.0.15+6 so I'd like that version if possible.
$ yum list jdk* command it doesn't show me any available versions. Instead I get Error: No matching Packages to list. What do I do? I've never used Linux before and I'm really struggling to find out what I'm doing wrong or make sense of any information out there. You’ll probably have an easier time using Docker and the Itzg containers since those will handle Java for you automatically.

Why do you advise against Oracle Linux? And what should be used instead?

Alright, thanks. Is it possible to start again or change it? I keep reading about people not being able to make a new VM after deleting an old one on the free tier
