Hi! I've never had any issues hosting servers for me and my friends to play on but recently my Public IP has stopped working. It started with GetSockOpt and now its just fully gone. My port forwarding is as it should be with the port being 25565. Everytime the server GUI opens it just says starting Minecraft Server on *:25565. Can someone help 😭

Steps i've taken is going to the site through my default gateway, Grabbing my IPV4 adress and putting it into my router settings with the gateway 25565
I will say im not the smartest to do this but im the only one in my group with a 2nd pc to host 😅
are you able to use localhost for a local connection to see if it works?

and the ip address it shows is accurate to your gateway ip you did?
along with you making sure its sharing TCP and not UDP as mc java doesnt run on UDP but TCP
just making sure the basics are done before throwing you into a god knows what document to fix this lol

If i did do udp and tcp is that okay aswell?
