Network Protocol Error

Any idea why some players get this "Network Protocol Error" when trying to join?
The server pings and everything, but they can't join and only get that error.

I can join normally with both Java and Bedrock, but they can't in a clean vanilla instance
Running the following plugins:

Not sure if spark can help with this, but lmk to take a report if it does

In Java I can join with both fabric-modified client and pure vanilla :idk:

Fixed it, apparently it wasn't a vanilla client and a fabric mod was doing some wacky stuff, no idea which one, but a clean install of the same modpack fixed it :based:
