Hello! this is more of a quick question rather than needing help diagnosing the issue
Im self hosting a minecraft server based around a mod that spawns custom entities, these are the ONLY entities allowed to spawn in the world, all else have been disabled.
(Im on 1.12.2, forge.)
This mod I guess never actually put a limit on how many times getCanSpawnHere() can be called, and as such even after limiting mob spawns, it still attempts to spawn them even though it is unable, as I manually limited their spawns with InControl. a solution for this was listed in the curseforge page, to simply increase the monster spawn tick rate as so it doesnt attempt to spawn them so incredibly frequently that it causes unplayable server lag.
However, I have found NO WHERE to increase the monster spawn tickrate on a 1.12.2 forge server, if any of you wise individuals have any knowledge on how to I would greatly appreciate it. thank you!

i didnt run it for very long, and this issue only becomes like unbearable when around 3-5 people get on.
like I mentioned in the main post I believe the best immediate fix is to turn up the amount of ticks per monster spawn however.. I just dont know how to do that in a forge 1.12.2 server.

this is a 1.12.2 server. this is the most up to date version of spark there is.
