I used to play on this server that had items that were called cycler blocks where basicly you could right click and boom stone is now a tuff block right click again its granite... ect ect till its stone again i wanna impliment this feature into my server but idk where to even start

if you have no experience with java or the paper api and you don't need anything else then it'll prob be a better use of your time to learn how to do it with a plugin... however looking at executable items i don't think you can do it with that the way you want as there's no trigger for eg. right click on air or something along those lines tho maybe you could get what the player clicked on... dunno kinda doubt it
