I've looked for a lot of optimization guides but almost everything seems to be for paper and cobblemon doens't support paper so Neoforge is what I am using.

I think my issue is mostly entities but I am not entirely sure but I can't figure out how I am supposed to put caps on these guys or what I can do to help. Ideally I'd like to have no issues for up to 15 people.

I was thinking maybe drop sim to 4 chunks but i was't sure if mobs would still spawn in the chunks 5-8 since mobs are supposed to spawn up to 128 blocks away.

Really not sure what else I can do besides throw better hardware at it and really rather not do that at this time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Server Specs: 3700x 16~24gb ram 1tb SSD
Asian black bear
Not sure myself but I hope you’re able to get help with this soon

Yeah me too, but it looking like I will have to just get some better hardware. I dropped the sim to 4 and it's helped a bit when a lot of us are on but after around 8 of us it will have small spikes of being unable to keep up. Thankfully when more of us are on we tend to be grouped up a bit more. And when there's too many of us and just too much going on like with an event I'll just disable the mobspawning which is good since it doesn't effect cobblemon or passive mobs but would rather have a blanket solution that didn't require me to tinker so much.

Hoping someone can help here I have like 15k entities I've tried killing items cobblemon hostiles 1 by 1. I don't want to kill all entities cause I'm worried I'll kill peoples villagers and stuff. Is there a /list entity command? Is there a way I can track down to what region/chucnk these entities are loaded into?
