i tried the local ip and it works very well but public ip don't work and an error says Failed to read from socket

has nothing to do with anything
query is a seperate feature
that isnt enabled by default and is on a different port
and not needed
if mcsrvstat can see the server it means the server is working
you cant join the public ip because of hair pin nat, try connecting from outside your home network
nearly all ips will fail that
