My Minecraft server blew up and I don't know how to handle it

Recently, I had just made a modded Minecraft server, but it blew up over the last two days with the views on my second most recent video on TikTok having over 220,000 views, and my Minecraft server has become overwhelmed by the influx of new players and I don't know how to handle it because if there's around 20 people on then the server just completely goes to shit and will only be smooth if the render distance is low and the mobcap is at 30% when that many people are online i also already tried all the best performance mods but they help but its not enough for the amount of players so what should I do to fix this problem?
(The server uses forge mods and there are around 80 of them, the main one being palladuim no other significant ones)
(I also don't know the server's CPU but it has around 20GB of ram and i would also like for there to be one massive world instead of splitting a few onto different ones)

Mind if we get more details? Which host are you with? What performance things have you tried? What kind of server actually is it?

Yeah no problem, currently I'm using Bisect, I have downloaded chunky and before I let people join I set it to 3000 and let it run untill it was finished then I downloaded servercore alongside ferrite core, clumps, and ai improvements and I don't know how to check what specific kind of server it is

What do people do on your server, what did you build? That's what I mean by what specific kind of server.

Oh and take a spark report so we can look at the server more closely.

I like to say Bisect is one of those providers that spend all their money on advertising and none of it on hardware/upgrades. I recommend looking at other hosts as soon as you can, especially since your player base is rapidly growing

While that runs I gotta ask, do you have much knowledge in how to actually do this stuff properly or was this a 'suddenly stumbled way too deep' moment?

a little bit of both I've always been the guy running the servers within groups of people so I know a bit but I've never had THIS many people so I've never had this problem before but I quite like the opportunity and the challenge I'm not gonna lie
Good to hear. Where's your skill lacking at the moment? Like if you needed to can you spin up a Linux server for your stuff?
