Chunky World Generating

Its been running for a little over a minute and still shows a status of 0% with 4400 chunks generated 😄

starting to think I incorrectly set the border 😄

Do i need a separate plugin to actually restrict people from crossing the border? I imagine chunky simply lets me generate the world border, but not make it so that the worldborder is like a forcefield?

Oh, I keep thinking of new questions. If im limited my overworld to 10k by 10k, do I need to limit my Nether to 10/8?

that would mean nether is only 1250x1250?

Or do I select the entire world as a region and world guard it with flag exit deny

I want the nether to still be accessible, I just dont understand how it works when my world border is only 10x10k

unless things changes, isnt 1 block in the nether 8 i the overworld?

So if i travel 1000 blocks in the nether then make a portal back to the overworld its as if I've travelled 8k blocks

You just can’t go over nether border if you have one set

Say your exit portal is set to take up to 12k

If the border is 10k you will land somewhere within 9k range

So that means my nether will only be 1250x1250 in size?

Did you set Nether border?

I havent set any borders yet

at the moment my world is being generated by chunky. Set it to 10k by 10k

It just mean that 10k is generated each side on your overworld

If i limit my overworld border to 10x by 10k Im wondering how it works in conjunction with the nether due to the scale

It won’t limit Nether coz Paper world border is per-world unlike vanilla.
