Yesterday I asked if it was possible to have a single biome per world, someone recomended me Single-Biome-World plugin which seems to do the trick. From what I can tell from the documentation it only supports single biomes and not a selection of biomes. I have an idea to for example create worlds like ICE which contain ice type biomes like ICE_SPIKES, FROZEN_OCEAN, etc. Maybe this is way more complex that I initally thought?

For this I'd honestly boot up modded, load Terralith, disable biomes you don't want and pregen, then use the world files.

You making this sound easy. Is it really that simple?

If i do this, can I pregen a whole world? Like up until world border?

I mean check how config works, but I'm pretty sure you can enable or disable biomes. As for will it work? Yeah prolly.

No need for modded. Terralith is a datapack, even when in mod form. The mod is a thin wrapper around the datapack.

Idk, set a border and use chunky.
It's not. You can literally right click and extract. It's just a datapack wrapped in a few lines of Fabric boilerplate.
Interesting.
