I purchased a domain name a few weeks ago and added an A record. It's been working occasionally, but most of the time it doesn't work. mcsrvstat.us sometimes can pull the status, sometimes it can't. The IP works perfectly when directly connected. The domain is on GoDaddy, Type=A, name=@, data=IP, TTL=600. Any ideas?

Agreed. Godaddy is notoriously hot garbage.
Use Cloudflare or any actually good provider, see if this pops up.

GoDaddy is fine. Have plenty of clients at work on them with no issues.

They’re functional, not fine. There is a difference.

Cloudflare will give you more for less anyway, there’s no reason to not use them over GoDaddy.

I don't really care about splitting hairs over the cost of my domain registrations, as long as privacy is working and my records are updating I couldn't care less. :shouganai:

To be clear CF has more features than GoDaddy and they charge less for those more features.

It’s less about money and more about what they do.
