[Forge 1.20.1] Anyone have experience with making serene seasons longer?

I made each subseason 12 days in game instead of 8, but now the weather and calendars are desynced showing 8 days for a subseason and the weather showing rain but also spawning snow on the ground in the winter. This is on a dedicated server
