How should I punish or talk to my Admin about his behavior?

I am not sure I am good with words

I already texted him what to do more throughly if a event like this ever happens and to never dare use /kill @e again due to the damage (luckily most people were offline so only I lost everything + my teammates)


Furthermore there is stuff missing from these images, he already apologized at getting angry about me not getting on VC and he defended the noob who killed his pet when I investigated how he accidentally kills someone pet but it was a accident and foxy didn't want to ban anyone over a accident which you shouldn't anyways

Furthermore he said sorry about his use of /kill @e and that he was just in a panick. But thats it, he hasn't addressed his behavior towards people

I didn't shut him down sooner like I did at the end of the images because I was busy fixing server

I am thinking of saying this

"Hello Foxy, its time we speak a bit further about your behavior yesterday.

I am not talking about you feeling upset or your ingame actions.

You are a person and it is fine to be upset as you can't be expected to be perfect, and your ingame actions were simply hectic because you were trying to save the server.

(But I already talked to you about what to do next time that happens above^ please save above^)

Although I hope you can take a second to reconsider how you made your self seem in chat to others that night, although you didn't mean it exactly this way, you made it sound like your pet was more important then the entire server itself crashing and other peoples hours of time and effort being at risk

Of course that's not true because you attempted to stop the crash, but you did make it sound like you didn't care about the server at all.

Although your fine to be upset about a genuinely rare pet and I know you had a bad day before that, crashing out against people who were simply panicking because they were scared to lose there own stuff just like you were panicking to get me on the server to fix the issue before you lost everything too is unacceptable.

You yelled and got angry at others although they were genuinely asking why you were getting mad about them also panicking about the server going blitz?

People need to feel comfortable or safe about the Admins on the server, if people even think admins are cheaty or horrible people in any way, that rubs off into the atmosphere and can divert the community into disaster.

It is unacceptable you lashed out to players like that, you even lashed out at me although I texted I was getting on and was going to join vc but with no mic.

I know your a good person and was having a shitty day so you ended up perceiving peoples comments negatively but if you truly understand what I'm saying and are able to go back in chat and see tbst people were texting you in the perspective of just wanting help and being worried, NOT actually attacking you, please apologize to them as soon as possible.

im curious, how does backups on bedrock work

as isnt it a .db file with the entire world so you cant exactly restore parts of it

I gotta be real, I'm in my 30s and if I had staff acting like this, they just would not be staff any more. This is just some childish bs. I don't have time for that. Staff are there to take the load off of higher level staff. Its delegation of responsibility. If they handle situations like this in a way that doesn't actually succeed at taking load off of me, they're not useful, so they don't keep the privilege of the role.

you having an admin is basically having someone be coo in your server
if they can’t behave and reliably solve issues. Remove them.
this might be stemming elsewhere to. go ask your other staff on what they think about this staff and see what else there is

He has been a admin for nearly a month now and was perfect before this, took care of issues, didn't cheat, reported to me things he did, took care of issues without being insane like that^

Since he was a perfect admin before this and a genuinely fine person when he help defended me from very toxic people I had to ban before he was a admin I am going to try to talk with him first to see if I can get it through his head first

Just to reiterate to make sure I'm not sugar coding it, your responsibilities as admin is to put the weight off other admins aka we help each other. So it's fucking mental that you disrespected everyone, including ME, the SERVER OWNER over not getting on immediately and snapping at literally everyone else over any tiny thing because you assumed everyone was attacking you for some reason when upset about your rare virtual pet.

He was on the server for a month before being admin, I had time to see him and his behavior

So he only became a admin the 2nd month

But yeah still looks bad

question how does your staff hierarchy work?

Well issue is, he is currently my only other admin

I started all this February

I have helpers but he is the only person I was able to decide was good as a admin and its been working out until now

My server isn't insanely big, like 3-5 active people on at all times, people playing different times so if they all played at same time that would be like 17? ppl but ppl different timezones
