Workaround for Custom Model Data on Bedrock with GeyserMC + Paper 1.21.4?

I'm running a Paper 1.21.4 Minecraft server with GeyserMC so that both Java and Bedrock players can join. My server uses a resource pack with a lot of custom model data to create unique items without replacing any of the default Minecraft items.
On Java Edition, everything works fine. Players can see the custom textures for the special items as long as they have the server resource pack.
The problem is with Bedrock Edition. As far as I know, Bedrock doesn't support custom model data like Java does. When Bedrock players join, they just see the default items, not the custom ones.
Is there any workaround to this? I want Bedrock players to be able to see the special item textures, but I don’t want to overwrite the default items for them. Just using a Bedrock resource pack doesn’t seem to work the same way.
Any ideas or tools that could help with this? Thanks!
