Of course not. Those are all just abstraction and convenience tools that facilitate things like resource pack creation, and armor stand / display entity animation.

Doing it yourself is 100% possible, but you have to code everything they do themselves from scratch.

If you're interested, I know of a from-scratch boss animation library targeted at Minestom, meaning that it's basically completely virgin code, not tied to any plugin system. I can send you the repo and you can try adapting it for whatever your platform is.

Actually, I just found one that has paper support, and is partially updated to 1.21.4 too.

MythicMobs free is pretty good; you just don't have access to the in-game GUI, which you don't need if you learn their yaml scripting format
