I have created a Minecraft Bedrock server on an Ubuntu virtual machine running on a laptop in VirtualBox. I want to add mods to it but don't have a lot of experience with modding a server using only the CLI. Is there any easy to read documentation or guides that I could use. I want to at least have Worldedit.
Bedrock doesnt use mods.
Do you mean addons?

Yes, that's what I meant.
Got it
you might not have a panel, but the same steps can be used roughly for cli 😄

I got to the zipping the files part of the guide, and am trying to connect to my server via filezilla
How do I check to make sure my server doesn't block filezilla
Pretty sure you can just use winscp and connect via SSH port
thats what I do for my machine
Chinese perchOP
Ok i will try that

Ok, I have the zip file in my world folder on the server end, how do I extract it properly?
just different commands

Is there an extract button in winscp?
Yes there is actually. But CLI is far better to use

What command would get me into it?
nvm

Is there a way to turn on beta APIs after the server has been made?

Continuing this thread, I am updating my server to the latest version and am trying to get the zip file from the minecraft website. My server is able to connect, but then just hangs waiting for a response

Found a workaround, but now just need to figure out how to start the upgrade
Why are you running this in a VM?
