Does anyone know how to run a server via TrueNas Scale with a custom modpack?

If you wanna just DL a server pack then that’ll do. I’m pretty sure the image you’re using for this is itzg/minecraft-server, yes?

i created a modpack with the curseforge app but it doesnt have a link i can download a zip tho

It’s a docker image, think prepackaged software.

In that case you’ll need to transfer files manually.

Learn how to setup persistent storage so you can put the server files somewhere accessible and then get to them using NFS or SMB.

so i just have to create a smb share and add the mods? but how do i accses that with the truenas minecraft app?

Somewhere in the setup for the app you’ll have a thing to add storage and screw around with filepaths, idk. Youtube or docs websites will have something.

i run multiple server on mine. i'm using dockge to manage a crafty controller instance on docker. do you need a full tutorial?
