I am running a server for me and my friends. The server is through Oracle on an Ubuntu system. It has 6 cores and 32 gigs of RAM with 30 allocated to minecraft. It regularly stays around 11 TPS when any more than 1 person is on. How can I fix this? I feel like it should not be dropping like this.

I am running a Spark report on the server now, it'll be around 5 minutes

@Britannia Petite free oracle server?
Britannia PetiteOP
It's on the "Pay as you go" tier but it is part of the "Always free"
I see

So it should still be getting priority from Oracle since they prio PAYG
Youd want to add some flags, Add this mod https://modrinth.com/mod/servercore/versions
And pregen
Config it, and should be fine
Oracle servers arent good for mc gaming

Flags?
yeah, all you have is xmx30G which is :whatthecinnamontoastfuckisthis:
https://flags.sh/ use this
Its in the whatever arguments you used to set it to 30 gb of ram

Oh, how big of a difference would this make? I'm assuming big enough to suggest it

Itll make the game feel less Stuttery every here and there as gc allocates

Ok, the only problem we have ATM is TPS
^
if you pregen most of your issues will be solved
with this mod

Also, the memory on flags only goes up to 24gb, should I not go higher than that? IK that Java has problems too high sometimes
you can manually set it higher
just make it 28xms and 28xmx to adhere to overhead
