I want to host my own minecraft server for me and a friend to play together, but I'm currently unable to port forward as I can't access my router's settings without my landlord's login details. What would be the best way to do this? I've seen a few different options: ngrok, playit.gg, e4mc, NordVPN meshnet, etc. which of these would be recommended? Is there a different platform that's better?

you can also use the essentials mod https://modrinth.com/mod/essential
Ignore all the cosmetics and BS and just go with the hosting they have

its pretty good
e4mc, playit.gg, and etc can do it too
just up to you what youd want
personally ive ran e4mc and Essentials and never had faults

another question, if i were to use a mod like e4mc that allows me to invite others to my singleplayer world, if i were to switch to playing on a minecraft server, would I be able to transfer the world and player data to the server?
