H'okay so. Can you explain why you want that? What's the problem you're trying to solve?

i was trying to debug some lag spikes i was having and i thought it was something like an issue i had on single player where whenever the garbage collection kicks in and the ram usage counter went down i would get a lag spike, i was trying to see if it was that
i managed to fix it but im just wondering for if i need to debug that sort of thing again
i also wanna know how much breathing room i have before i need to buy more ram
Gotcha! Okay. So the correct way to do that is with a Spark report. What type of server is it? Paper? Forge?
Northeast Congo LionOP
forge
Kk, download and install the Spark mod.

alright tysm
So this is a performance profiler. Basically, when you have performance issues, do /spark profiler start and when it ends do /spark profiler stop. Then you can pull up the report on the website it gives you, or send it here in this Discord for help from experienced folks. You can feel free to send the link here now if you're able to capture the lagginess in a report easily.

i managed to fix the issue i just wanted to find out for future reference
Ah fair. Yeah, so there's a lot of nuance to reading those and making positive changes. First few times, probably best to get some help understanding how to use it.
But yeah, enjoy. Feel free to !solved when you're all set.
