Alright, like the title says. Trying to figure out how to do scheduled restarts on my server. Im using pufferfish as a host and it has a schedules tab that i assume i can do that with but i have no idea where to start or what a cron is. I want this restart because ive been taught by people smarter than me that letting servers take a break is important, and in my specific case because when its running for a while it starts yelling about maxed ram usage.

can you send a screenshot of the shedules tab?

cheat sheet gives short hand for durations of time. but i dunno how to use those to make it restart
i do not speak the penguin language, so this is all gibberish to me

okay, so this is not that hard as it seems.
Some simple steps to follow:
- when you click on new shedule it opens the screen you showed. Givbe the shedule a name and when it should execute that shedule
- it then creates that shedule on the shedules tab
- click on the shedule you just created
- click on new task in the top right
- under action select
- under payload select
That should make everything work

send power action- under payload select
restart the server or the power action u want the server to performThat should make everything work

and is it normal for this value to slowly ramp up over time? isnt it supposed to like, dump some of it periodically or something?

restarts are also generally used for feature updates, servers run fine without restarts
Morelet’s CrocodileOP
no to which part. i realize i asked two questions in there.

no it is not normal
I have my servers running for weeks at a time and they do not run out of memory
Looks like you have a plugin that is leaking memory. Can you send a plugin list in here?

Thing you could do is research if any of the plugins you have have a confirmed memory leak
