If I have two Bedrock servers running on a single dedicated Minecraft PC with 8 cores / 16 threads, should I set the thread count manually to 8 each or something lower? Or if I leave it empty would they use only what they need? Max 5-8 players total spread across both servers.

PC specs:
Ubuntu Server
AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS
32GB RAM

you can limit the threads on it if you really want, but not limiting it just lets them use the entire cpu aka all 16 threads.
personally i dont limit threads on my servers unless they draw insane amounts of threads on startup
the servers you have are pretty small so you wont need to limit cpu threads on them :YEP:
tl;dr
Personal choice to limit or not. its not required

Would not limiting them cause one to hog more threads, making the other one slower?

do you use a panel like pterodactyl or screens for the server?
or something else
PalominoOP
No, I don't use anything, these are just vanilla servers with some scripts I wrote to auto start and shutdown, but I can look into that
gotcha
if you have a domain id suggest pterodactyl its pretty simple and neat if you like gui's

That was my main concern with trying to run multiple servers, I'm not sure if leaving them with no limit would cause them to hog too many threads. But based on what you said, it sounds like they won't necessarily take as many as possible, only what they need, right?
PalominoOP
All right, thanks for the help
