Awhile ago I made a decently well Minecraft server but sadly how to close down and I believe I was thinking too big on it. Now I wish to retry at starting that Minecraft server again, but a bit more simple.
My main goal is to create a SMP server with some rpg aspect to it. Skills, Dungeons, Events, PVE/PVP, Land claim (No grief) and some non vanilla features keep players engaged.
I need help with knowing which plugins(free/premium) are a must have for any sever, then what plugins are recommended for the main feature that I'm wanting. If I need to move this to Feelancing, I'm willing to pay for some help with server set-up

You’ll likely want to have coreprotect as well
Vault is a pretty common dependency for economy plugins
And protocolib is a pretty common dependency for anticheats

I've seen many anticheats and my previous server I had gotten vulcan and spartan, not sure how well they hold up now though.

Also what minecraft version is the most stable or used for plugin servers now? I had 1.19

Although it’s been quite a while since I’ve ran a paper server. I do still recall some minor things though
