As I said, I created new project in IntelliJ and I can't export it into a .jar file. I created an artifact and all, but when I click build, the file is not being created

you dont export it, you build it with gradle or gradlew iirc

and

there are no other directories

did you build it using gradlew command? and then looked in the build/libs folder
