Is there any plugin for velocity that lets the admins manage which servers can be joined by permission, update server (add/remove servers) on the fly and maybe create permission groups for example testers and public stuff
create permission groups for example testers and public stuff

admins manage which servers can be joined by permission
That's luckperms. Install on proxy and backends. /lp editor

update server (add/remove servers)
What's your usecase? Most folks would use Pterodactyl for this.

I know about luckperms but, does it have the ability to restrict players from joining a server if they do not have a specified permission?

I also use pterodactyl already, what I meant is to add/removing servers to the velocity proxy without restarting the proxy

You kind of have to, or else it won't see that you've added the servers, lol
That's just kind of how the velocity program works
To velocity, it would be like you gave them a blue ball, but then you gave them the exact same ball but in green, and they thought it was still blue... Lol

Neither Luckperms nor Velocity offer that feature out of the box, but there are many plugins that control inter-server teleportation. This is one of them.

This is really cool actually, never knew something like this existed! Might put this in my personal discord server for important stuff or things I want to take note of type of stuff, lol

Same. I also knew that it "wasn't possible" to do that. I assumed that big minigame servers just have private forks of network software (many do). But I also figured that this was probably something someone would have made at some point, so I poked around until I found it.

Funny part, is it was the creator's post on admincraft about it like a year ago that helped me find it.

Bro, the more I think about it the more I think about how when someone's subserver is experiencing a hell of a lot of lag, or when something happens and the world is having issues, they could just straight up add a new subserver to it real quick with a recent backup, and everything's fine, lol
It's more of a blessing than I previously thought something like this could be
This should probably be shared more often, in this and the other admincraft server
@Connecticut Warbler Velocity ctd does, made by a very known member of the mc community
I'm just never going to answer a question again. Just gonna start tagging you in every post. In fact, I'm gonna get Mortis to make a bot that just tags you every time someone ends a sentence with a question mark. 😂
If you have legacy gamemodes etc

Yeah rusty connector is cool but it isn't a option for me sadly because it requires you to have a plugin also on the backend servers and half my servers are 1.8 due to the old pvp mechanics and rusty connector does not support 1.8
But I'll look into velocity ctd

I am aware, but they do not recreate it completely properly, we have tested almost all of the plugins on 1.20.4 but all they differ, we ended up creating our own fork of paper 1.8.8
