was thinking about buying a minecraft server to be modded and played on by at most 4 people and i was wondering if it has the option to enable offline mode? since one of my friends currently don’t have the funds to buy the official game

The only time offline mode is acceptable is if you can't connect to online mode servers even if you try, basically.

what are risks of enabling offline mode in general? i know any1 can join using any username but are there any other concerns such as IP leaking and whatnot
