im trying to set up world guard and luck perms, and trying to make it so that once a player gets a role in luckperms they can bypass permissions in a specific region in worldguard. do you know if this is possible??
Yes, this is possible. Common even. There are per-region permissions that you can set up for your permissions groups and users. They use the region's name. https://worldguard.enginehub.org/en/latest/permissions/

youre awesome. is that the worldguard.region.bypass.<world> perm? or is that something else i cant see where to put the region name.

yeah idk
that notation might only support the ones that follow it

i want players with the "cook" luckperms group to be able to enter and use/interact with blocks in the "kitchen" region
how do players receive that group?

a custom plugin were developing
via the LP API
or by manual assignment
Good news, WG has an API that let's you interact with it directly. https://worldguard.enginehub.org/en/latest/developer/
I once wrote a full plotworld plugin using it
it's extremely flexible

mmm ok
so instead of trying to make permissions do your thing
just give them access directly

WG has groups right?
regions have an owner and members
with flags that affect their abilities to do things

/rg flag kitchen entry allow -g cook
this worked, theres a -g for group unless i was mistaken
    kitchen:
        members:
            groups: [cook]
        flags: {entry: deny, interact: deny}
        owners: {}
        type: poly2d
        priority: 0
        max-y: 112
        min-y: 99
        points:
...
hm
you don't make a group called cook
