Hi title essentially. A lot of the plugins that I want to use are getting majorly fucked over rn with the latest vers of 1.21.4 and aren't supported at all.
I want to downgrade to the latest vers of 1.20's stuff since it was the latest "stable" version of the plugins I want to use. However, is there any process to downgrade/upgrade? What exactly do you guys do to ensure that your files still work the same and nothing is blasted apart

Its not recommended to downgrade tbh
Can result in loss of files etc

I was starting a server and getting all the plugins to use and downloaded 1.21.4 without seeing the massive problems it had rn
I'm thinking about just making a new 1.20.4 server with the same plugins so I can actually work on stuff
Would that be fine to then later upgrade to 1.21.4 once it's all stable?

It's never recommended to upgrade a server past major versions like that, but if you know what you're doing you can get away with it.

you’d lose a Ton of data or brick the world entirely
either stay on it. or start a new

My server is still pretty new so that's why I'm debating what version to finalize on

1.20.x <-> 1.21.x
And you know by taking a backup and trying it.

But considering 1.20.4 was the latest vers that the plugins were universally stable on
Should I just go to 1.20.4 and later when people get the problems solved go to 1.21.4

Mythicmob, mmocore, model engine are the primary ones
Model engine and mythicmob also just doesn't support 1.21.4 at all

That's not what I'm seeing.
1.21 supported, that'll mean 1.21.x in all good chance.

Nono I went to the discord and asked and 1.21.4 isn't working at all

They have a beta vers for 1.21.4 for premium users but I didn't buy it so
