Big difference in ping between JAVA and Geyser players

Hi all, the screenshot attached is my JAVA account's ping first and then my bedrock account second, both are in the same place, however the ping is drastically different. Does anyone know if the geyser ping can be lowered, would it be the
compression-level field in the geyser config? I understand bedrock is a different protocol but it seems weird that the ping is that different, anything above a 50 ping on bedrock seems to teleport players around (example attached).image.png

compression-level would reduce the size of the data being sent to bedrock clients, and could have an impact on ping, yes. But it will increase CPU load for your server. You'll have to experiment a bit.Hopefully someone else that knows Geyser better than I do can come around and offer more help.

Ask in the geyser discord, I've had the same issue and it just got resolved randomly when updating 💀
