Hosting a server for my friends and I, and one player stopped being able to connect after a few days.

They just fall through the void endlessly with no inventory loaded- I have tried restarting the Minecraft server .jar.

I'm gonna have them restart their Mac and flush their DNS. What else do I try? Everyone else AFAIK is on Windows.

What I'm finding online says things about the server not loading the chunk- but this can't be the case, as I'm literally in the same chunk staring at their player character with armor on. Only their end is not receiving anything. Others connect just fine as well in the same area. I suspect something with their apartment's internet changed due to the recent snowstorm impacting my area, but I don't know for sure.

Server is running CraftBukkit 1.20.1.

genuinely can’t tell if this is real issue or copy paste because these are so common
MinskinOP
is it? :sadge:
it is a real issue and not copy paste
craftbukkit?
:GhostHuh:

MinskinOP
bukkits technical name is craftbukkit

yk paper/pufferfish/purpur/etc can do the same and 3x better?
MinskinOP
ive heard but im familiar with bukkit so i just went with it
idk the others at all
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
MinskinOP
i just want to resolve my issue and as far as i can tell its not a bukkit issue
im confident in it being client sided
have you tried to regenerate a world/move your playerdata away from its current location?
possibly increasing the client sided ram
MinskinOP
client with issues is the only one on mac and i have no idea how to increase ram on a mac
like allocation?
MinskinOP
Correct
